Using Real-Time SQL Monitoring

Real-time SQL monitoring provides a very useful way to identify performance problems with long-running SQL queries. Execution statistics such as step elapsed time, CPU time, number of reads and writes are available in real-time by Oracle Enterprise Manager and from appropriate SQL statements using API. During the session I will show step by step example how to display details of SQL execution using Oracle Enterprise Manager and directly from the SQL statements. What’s more, I will demonstrate how to generate such details after the query execution completed.
