Database In-Memory and Converged Database: Real-Time, All the Time!

Database In-Memory is a transformational In-Memory technology, enabling superfast analytics on any type of data, without requiring application changes. In this session, we will show how you can build modern real-time applications that require the power and speed of in-memory processing and multiple data models and formats, without incurring the complexity of multiple specialized databases. We will give you an under-the-hood look at Database In-Memory, its unique dual-format row/column architecture, its many optimizations for analytic processing, and how it integrates with the many different converged database algorithms and data models of Oracle Database. We will also give you a preview of what is new and what is in the roadmap for Database In-Memory along with a short demo on how to leverage the power of in-memory along with converged database.
